Expands Line of Non-Silicone Release Agents to Meet The Most Demanding Applications
Waterford, Connecticut: Price-Driscoll today announced the launch of their new Supralease line of non-silicone release agents. Building off the success of their earlier Spectrum products, the new Supralease line adds several niche products for the most complete line of non-silicone releases in the industry.
“We have a long history of success with our silicone-based products. With Supralease, we decided it was time to really focus on the potential of a whole range of chemistries outside of silicone, in order to give our customers more choice when looking for release agents for their demanding applications,” Clint Barth, Price-Driscoll’s President commented. “The biggest changes were the addition of a carnauba wax release for thermoset encapsulation, which uses natural carnauba instead of synthetic, and three products designed specifically for investment casting where the elimination of silicone allows for faster operations. We’ve had requests from customers from both industries for these products, and are happy to be able to give them what they want, and help them make their products even better.”
Comprised of organic waxes, vegetable oils, mineral oils, fluorocarbons and proprietary chemistries, Supralease release agents are high-purity, non-contaminating, environmentally safe, and suitable for a broad range of molding operations and materials. Available as a liquid or packaged in aerosol cans, product is now in stock and available for immediate shipment.
