Ultralease
Class-leading Silicone Release Technology
We have been working with silicone release agents for over 70 years for one simple reason: they work. Able to release a broad range of materials, be easily applied with no special training, and be incorporated into many processes, silicone-based release agents offer unmatched versatility and performance in an economical package.
Ultralease is the latest iteration of our class-leading silicone mold release. Ultralease takes advantage of the tried and true performance of silicone and the fast evaporation rate of organic solvents to provide a highly effective and efficient release agent that will save you time and money with every cycle. Choose Ultralease for proven chemistry, ease-of-use, high-volume applications, or when cost is a limiting factor.
All Ultralease Release Agents Feature:
— Broad application
— Aerosol or liquid packaging
— Multiple formulations and pricepoints
— No chlorinated solvents
— No Ozone Depletion Potential

Why choose Ultralease silicone mold releases?
Superior Release Efficiency — Our Ultralease line of silicone mold release sprays and liquids feature extremely low-surface tension, which leads to excellent spreading (or wetting) properties. When lightly sprayed or wiped onto the mold, Ultralease products will form a very-thin, uniform film over the entire surface of the mold, even when applied in very low amounts. Because Ultralease silicone release agents provide complete coverage with a minimal amount of product, less release is needed per operation and build-up on the mold itself is minimized, resulting in more economical operation and less downtime.
Broad compatibility — Ultralease silicone mold releases have been engineered as broad-based solutions compatible with a range of materials and processes. All Ultralease products are chemically inert, allowing them to be used in varying environmental conditions, and ideal for sensitive materials such as polyurethane. High-thermal stability prevents the releases from breaking down under heat, making them efficient parting films for high-temp molding operations such as rotational molding and die casting. Aerosol and liquid formulations with variable dilution rates further add to the flexibility of Ultralease releases. For manufacturers who use varying materials or processes, this allows for simplified selection and easier incorporation into most molding processes.
Lowest Cost per Release — Our silicone-based release agents are ideal for manufacturers looking for a highly efficient and economical solution to their molding challenges. Easily applied with no special training, Ultralease silicone mold releases feature high-thermal stability for exceptionally low in in-mold buildup/mold fouling, reducing the need for costly and time-intensive cleaning. Repeated use has been proven to seal and protect new molds and increase the lubricity of seasoned ones, providing extended protection and reducing downtime. Ultralease mold release exhibits a highly-efficient release rate, leading to a reduction in overall scrap when compared to other releases. The result is higher productivity and profitability through reduced downtimes, lower reject rates, and higher quality products.
Higher Worker Safety Standards — Ultralease silicone release agents utilize organic solvent carriers, for near-instantaneous evaporation and a quick cure-time. Many of our products are available in a range of solvents, from low-VOC to non-flammable to economically-minded options, allowing customers to choose the right formulation for their needs. Ultralease silicone mold releases benchmark against CARB standards for all of our products, ensuring that they are compliant to even the most stringent safety and environmental requirements. We are proud to carry the broadest line of non-flammable releases in the industry, and continue to work to maximize both productivity and worker safety with all of our products.

Ultralease APR All-Purpose Release
Ultralease APR is an all-purpose, silicone-based release agent that provides high-performance release and surface conditioning to any metal or plastic mold. Works equally well with epoxies, polyurethanes and polyesters in room temperature or elevated cure systems. Seals and protects the mold without build- up or contaminating transfer. Approved for indirect food contact (FDA 21CFR 175.300 and 178.3570).
Ultralease HDR Heavy-Duty Release
Ultralease HDR is an heavy-duty, silicone-based release agent that provides increased release for complex shapes or problem areas. Works equally well with epoxies, polyurethanes and polyesters in room temperature or elevated cure systems. Seals and protects your mold without build-up or contaminating transfer. Approved for indirect food contact (FDA 21CFR 175.300 and 178.3570).
Ultralease PNT Paintable Release
Ultralease PNT is a paintable release agent for molding, extruding and fabricating rubber and plastic parts. Allows molded and cast parts to be coated/painted/ plated without excessive cleaning. Thermal stability allows repeated use at high temperatures without build-up.
Ultralease CST Casting Release
Release agent and lubricant for casting metals, and molding plastics and rubbers. Thermal stability allows repeated use at high temperatures without build-up on mold. Little or no interference with painting, coating or bonding.
Ultralease ICS Investment Casting Silicone
Ultralease ICS is a universal, silicone-based release agent effective for injection, RIM, compression, extrusion, casting and forming operations. Prevents drag marks and cracking when extracting from tooling. Best for use on small or complex parts, or to provide lubrication to gates and runners.
Ultralease EPX Epoxy Parfilm
Ultralease EPX GP is a semi-permanent, solvent-based release agent formulated expressly for epoxy and thermoset resins and plastics. After application, Ultralease EPX rapidly dries at room temperature to a micro-thin and durable parting-film that will not transfer to product or inhibit post-mold painting or bonding. Repeated usage seals and protects mold without build-up.
Ultralease PET Polyester Parfilm
Ultralease PET is a semi-permanent, solvent-based release agent formulated expressly for polyester and thermoplastic polymers. After application, Ultralease PET rapidly dries at room temperature to a micro-thin and durable parting-film that combines the durability of a semi-permanent release with the fast-cure of a sacrificial, allowing for faster cycles times and improved efficiency. Repeated usage seals and protects mold without build-up, and will not transfer to product or inhibit post-mold painting or bonding.
Ultralease URE Urethane Parfilm
Ultralease URE is a blended, solvent-based mold release formulated expressly for urethane and elastomer polymers. After application, Ultralease URE rapidly dries at room temperature to a micro-thin and durable parting-film that will not transfer to product or inhibit post-mold painting or bonding. Repeated usage seals and protects mold without build-up.
Ultralease SLP Hi-Slip Release
Ultralease SLP provides a high-slip, semi-permanent parting film which effectively releases plastics, adhesives, and other elastomeric products. High-slip formula provides maximum release for complex parts or difficult to release materials, and enhances color on dyed components. Contains NO Chlorinated Solvents, NO Class I or Class II Ozone Depleting Substances.
